Africa Comes to Marshall School

Spring 2010

Video by Gary Olsen and John Woodin

his is a very special music program that we captured at Marshall School this spring. Its theme is Africa, featuring the music, customs, and art of the equatorial nations of that most fascinating of continents. Several learning disciplines were involved in this Expeditionary Learning project that included physical movement, art, literature, science and, of course, geography.

The Crazy Cam was employed to capture this event, but there is a bonus event within this video honoring a long time employee of the district who is retiring you won't want to miss.
