You decide who can see your calendar and which details they can view. Planning an event? You can create invitations, send reminders and keep track of RSVPs right inside Google Calendar. Organizations can promote events, too.
  • Staying on schedule
You can set up automatic event reminders, including mobile phone notifications, and instantly bring up anything on your calendar with the built-in search tool.

Instructions

The easiest way to subscribe to your school's Google calendar is to:

1. Find your school's Google Calendar. This should be on your school's webpage.

2. Click on the circled button like this on your school's calendar page:

3. This button will send you to the Google Calendar Login Page. From there, you will need to either log in to your Google account or sign up for free.*

If you are signing up, you may need to repeat the process again after you have signed up.

If you have any questions, contact the school building's Webmaster.

Share your public calendar's ID!

Okay, here's something from Bill Fordice at Carver. He found this on the Google site. It's a great step-by-step in how to make your calendar's work better:

You can let specific people know about your public calendar by sharing your Calendar ID. Follow these instructions to find your Calendar ID to share with others:

1. In the calendar list on the left, click the down-arrow button next to the appropriate calendar, then select Calendar settings.

2. In the Calendar Address section, locate the Calendar ID listed next to the XML, ICAL and HTML buttons.

3. Copy the Calendar ID and send it to your friends. Your friends can then add your Calendar ID to the Add a friend's calendar field in the calendar list on the left of their Google Calendar.

Once they add the ID, your public calendar will appear in their calendar list.
