First of all, one of the traditional ingredients was a "cup of lard." Our executive chef, Jim Terry, has taken this recipe and turned it on its head, substituting ingredients with more healthy and nutritious alternatives, like organic whole grain flatbred containing sprouts. Ground buffalo is also used in this recipe and black beans, which was perhaps the most nutritious ingredient in the old recipe. Black beans are loaded with healthy goodness according to our dietitian, Megan Dalsing.
