Total Access School Meals Portal » Click here to access your student's account details.

On Thursday, March 20, the School Dining System portal which you use to access your student’s food service account was updated to provide a more user friendly interface. With the change, the system has also been re-named Total Access.

These updates are strictly cosmetic in nature and will not alter your use of the site in any way. As always, Total Access may be used to check student balances, change your low balance email settings, update information, and see what your student ate.

If you have any questions, contact the food and nutrition services office at 563/552-3225 or

About Total Access

All Dubuque Community Schools use a computerized lunch account system, called Total Access.

Money is placed in an individual account. Breakfast, lunch and a la carte purchases are deducted from the account. Once an application for Free or Reduced meals has been received and approved, the system will automatically calculate the appropriate charge. If there are no funds in the account and the student is not eligible for free meals, or has not filled out an application for the current year, the purchase is charged and the student/parent is responsible for the negative balance.

Payments can be made by check, cash or through the Revtrak online payment system. Middle and High School students are able to make payments to the cafeteria cashiers before school or during meal times. Elementary students should bring payment to the classroom.

Total Access School Meals Portal gives you access to view your student/s meal account information.

Instructions for Using Total Access

Our district does not have family accounts; each account is separate. Therefore, when logging into this website, you need an ID and password for each of your students.

The Username is the student's permanent student ID number.

Account and password numbers are listed on low balance reminders sent home with elementary students. The information is also listed on email notifications sent through Total Access, so we encourage you to enter your email address once you log onto the system. If you do not know your username and password, email us at

To logon to the system, click on the Total Access icon, enter the username and password. Once you login to the system you should first enter your email information. You can then access account information through the "Reports" pull-down at the top of the page.
