Fabricating the basic jar shape

In this episode we begin fabricating our jars from slab clay. Slab clay is simply a slab of clay rolled flat but maintaining a consistent thickness. In this exercise we are cotinuing with our task of designing and making Egyptian style canopic jars.

This series of shows is part of our "Classroom Without Walls" series of shows that are actual lessons based in solid curriculum goals and learning objectives. These shows have become lessons that are paced so that viewers can follow along and view the class from any computer or portable device.
