2/1/13 – Lincoln Elementary Supporters Holding Fundraiser, Feb. 3

In an effort to help Lincoln School raise funds for much needed technology, PALS (People Associated with Lincoln School) is holding a Super Sunday Vendor Fair on Sunday, Feb. 3, from noon-3 p.m. in the Lincoln Gymnasium at 555 Nevada Street. In addition to the vendors present, raffle tickets will be available for a chance to win donated vendor items. Pizza and soft drinks will also be for sale.

Participating vendors include: AdvoCare, Longaberger, Silpada, Arbonne, Lia Sophia, Snazzy Stuff, Celebrating Home, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Miche Bags, Thirty One Gifts, Discovery Toys, Norwex, Tina Marie Photography, Diva Squirrel, Orgami Owl, Tupperware, Gold Canyon Candles, Scentsy, Usborne Books, Wild Tree, Parklane Jewelry, Sew What?, and other craft vendors!

The thoughts and prayers of the Dubuque Community School District are with those in Newtown, Connecticut impacted by today's tragic school shooting. 

We know that there are no words to provide comfort in the wake of today's events, yet we also know the power of school communities to unite in overcoming adversity.

Today, we lend our support to those in Connecticut from afar and we join with schools across the country in striving to always provide the safest environment possible for our students.
