DCSD DINA Plan and the Role of the Teacher Quality Committee

Lynne shared the DINA plan. The group putting together the plan thought about initiatives that are already in place so that we are not starting everything from scratch. The goal was to be very focused—to keep things narrow. The plan is based on data—similar to our work in TQ.

Future Meetings

February 9, 2012 (work groups)

March 1, 2012

April 26, 2012

May 17 or June 7, 2012?

Other

A robust conversation ensued about how we blend everything together within our PLC framework and what this might look like. Discussion points included how to make this fair for all; how our district gets PLC’s to implement the goals in terms of the DINA plan; and how schools that are focusing on AIW can cover the new learning that needs to take place.
