To develop world-class learners and citizens of character in a safe and inclusive learning community.
SCHOOL BOARD »
As a public, tax-payer-owned entity, the Dubuque Community School District is governed by a seven-member Board of Education elected by the citizenry. This group of volunteer board members is charged with oversight of the broad strategic and fiduciary health of the school district.
In Dubuque, we are fortunate to have a diverse board that is wholly dedicated to ensuring that Dubuque’s children receive an education that remains true to the district’s mission: “to develop world-class learners and citizens of character in a safe and inclusive learning community.”
Board Members L to R: George Davis, Otto Krueger, Craig Beytien, Tami Ryan,
Mike Donohue, Matt Strelo, Tom Barton.
