SPECIAL EDUCATION LONGITUDINAL SURVEY FOR GRADUATES/DROPS

During June
November of 1999, Dubuque Community School District (DCSD) conducted a
longitudinal survey of students with disabilities who had graduated or
dropped out in May 1999. 135 students were contacted for interviews. Of
that 135, 64 were completed (47%). The primary method of contacting students
was by phone, but some surveys were also mailed. The purpose of this study
was to gather current information in the areas of post-secondary education,
employment, and living since leaving high school.
